The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex two time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
